I admit, my english needs improvement. I am taking it step by step... so... let's not wait... 


1. Segregation 
  • n.隔离;种族隔离;分离
Sample:
a. The criminal faced segregation for unfixed periods. 
b. He began to dismantle segregation within the armed forces. 

2. Skunkworks
  • n.(大公司从事科研和新产品开发的)实验室;研发部门

3. Tutelage
  • n.监护;指导;托管
  • Sample:
a. I gained valuable training under his tutelage.
b. A new regime was installed under French tutelage.

4. Insurmountable
  • adj.无法解决的;难以对付的
Sample:
a. The problems are not insurmountable.
b. The age barrier appeared insurmountable.

5. Siphon
  • n.虹吸管
  • v.用虹吸管吸出或排出;转移(钱)
Sample:
a. A liquid is made to flow through a siphon.
b. If you're short of petrol you can siphon off a gallon from my tank.
c. She siphoned off profits from the business into her account.

6. Plagiarize
  • vt.抄袭;剽窃
Sample:
a. Actually, I also think there's no reason for Professor Song to plagiarize.
b. It's not a viable option to plagiarize someone else's work.

7. Belligerent
  • adj.好战的;交战的
  • n.交战国;交战者
Sample:
a. The belligerent countries are having difficulties funding the war.
b. The belligerents were due to try to settle their differences.

8. Onfuscate
  • v.弄暗;使模糊;使困惑
  • Sample:
a. This message might appear if you obfuscate the solution code.
b. He delighted in his ability to obfuscate.


9. Profane
  • adj.亵渎的;不敬神的;世俗的
  • v.亵渎;玷污
  • Sample:
a. His profane language annoyed us.
b. I was sorry, I said, to hear them so very profane.
c. They have profane the long uphold tradition of the church.
d. His action profaned the honour of his country.

9. Pseudo
  • adj.假的;冒充的
  • Sample:
  • a. Her care for the poor is completely pseudo.
